Food, glorious food project

ugandan workshopAs part of the Food Glorious Food project we have had a visit from a farmer-head teacher who lives in Uganda and he has been working with Cherry and Sequoia classes this week. They have been learning all about Ugandan cooking and how to make bag gardens. The children thoroughly enjoyed his visit and learnt a lot about a completely different culture to ours.

Maple class also visited Belmont Park to help water the herbs, plant seeds and they also used the growing lavender to make cakes.

Many thanks to Jo Kingscott for arranging for us to be part of this extremely interesting local project. Belmont
